Of course, we also expect news regarding future PS5 games. This could mean a lot of things, but a big event amidst multiple rumors about a new PS5 model seems like the perfect stage for its launch. Jeff Grubb makes it clear that Sony will use its next PlayStation Showcase to disclose details about “the next phase of the PS5”. Now, E3 2023 is dead and, to be honest, I believe that there is no turnback for this fair, but Summer Game Fest will play the role and Sony will be ready for it. The company would not attend the event, as it left E3 years ago, but still, it would use that period to showcase the “next phase of the PS5”. Sony was actually planning an event for the “E3 2023” season.
Right now, this event doesn’t have a specific date, however it will take place before the Summer Game Fest which starts on June 8. According to the reputed journalist Jeff Grubb, Sony is planning a PlayStation Showcase for June.
